KARACHI: England will be without three main players when they take on Pakistan in the first T20I of the seven-match T20I series on Tuesday at the National Stadium Karachi.
According to the details, all-rounder Chris Woakes, pacers Mark Wood and Reece Topley are unlikely to feature in the opening clash of the much-awaited series.
According to team management, Woakes and Wood are returning from extended layoffs due to their respective injuries and won’t be hurried into the side.
Meanwhile, Topley is ailing from a niggle and is unlikely to play in the first T20I.
In addition, Richard Dawson, an assistant coach for England, also had a hip injury during Saturday’s training session.
